I just uploaded the mix I recorded for Ruxbin’s Mixedtape Exchange in December. It’s 65 minutes of vintage house music bliss from the depths of my Expedits. I included a couple recent cuts, but the majority of the soaring synths & warm basslines are from late 80s to mid 90s. 100% vinyl, featuring tracks from Cajual, Nu Groove, Shelter, Henry Street, Planet E, TBD Sounds & more! A couple weeks ago I picked up an epic grip of 12”s from Beautiful World Syndicate on a Friday afternoon. I was fortunate enough to have first crack at a DJ’s collection they still had in their van, hence the title. This is a one take mix of most of the records I recorded the next day. Definitely a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Also, I can’t forget to thank Google Street View for the image. You can even see the van in the foreground.
